We support people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

About the role

We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnights
  • Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
  • Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
  • Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
  • Preparing food, feeding clients and assisting medications
  • Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Responding to emergency situations

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current Working With Childrens Check/ NDIS workers screening card 
  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Comprehensive insurance (desirable)
  • Double COVID Vaccination
