Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker – Aged Care (Gold Coast Area)

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker to support our aged care clients throughout the Gold Coast. You will assist clients with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment, as well as provide essential daily living support.

Key Responsibilities: but not limited to

• Perform domestic duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, meal preparation, washing dishes, changing bed linen, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, and fridge cleaning
• Shopping for clients as required
• Offer social interaction and companionship

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar aged care role is highly valued
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable people with dignity and respect
• Current Police Clearance to work with vulnerable clients
• First Aid and CPR certification up to date
• Valid Open Australian driver’s licence with no restrictions
• Access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance for work purposes
• Ability to speak a second language is an advantage
