Right at Home, ACT Canberra are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Enrolled Nurse/Registered Nurses to join our team servicing clients in their homes in the Inner South, Weston Creek and South Canberra suburbs. The position may suit recent graduates in some cases, or a more experienced nurse who may be seeking to add some regular hours to an existing schedule. The role will be flexible to suit your existing commitments and will provide regular hours of work. 

Pay rate will be from $38 - $52 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

You’ll provide person-centred care to our Disability and Aged Care Clients in the Community, ensuring a safe environment within their home and applying your clinical skills to improve client’s quality of life and independence. 

  • Assess, plan and implement Client care within your scope
  • Consider physical, social and psychological requirements and or limitations.
  • Contribute, develop and adhere to care plans, health and home safety assessments, risk management and risk prevention implementations to reflect developing needs and Client goals.
  • Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are always met.
  • Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members, reporting directly to the Clinical Care Manager.
  • Administrative tasks, reporting, restocking nursing kits will correspond to the requirement of the role.
  • Collaborate with Clients respective families, Allied Health professionals, GP'S, specialists and hospital personnel.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Community nursing experience (preferred)
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate
  • A smart mobile phone
  • Driver's licence and reliable presentable car
