Why is it better for our older loved ones to stay at home?
Choosing an Aged Residential Home seems, on paper, to be a good decision for the ongoing health and support for your older relative. They have nurses on hand, the capability to provide stimulation, and the ability to mix with people of their own age.

Staying at home, on the other hand, is preferable for many older people. They are comfortable, surrounded by familiar things like smells, sights and sounds, and they avoid the traumatic experience of moving somewhere new. The importance of familiarity is something that we focus on in our care plans – we match carers to our clients based on services needed, interests and personalities. Our clients develop a relationship with regular carers, who are constantly developed and monitored by our care managers and supported by a 24-hour on-call nurse.
