World Mental Health Day – How can Right at Home help?

| News

World Mental Health Day occurs each year on the 10th of October, recognising and raising awareness for mental health and wellbeing in our communities.

Blog WMHD

World Mental Health Day (WMHD) is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Run by Mental Health Australia, the WMHD 2020 campaign aims to negate negative perceptions around mental illness. You can support the campaign by making a #MentalHealthPromise.

So many people could improve their lives by seeking the right care and support early. Mental health disease has traditionally carried a stigma, but more and more people are realising it is a condition that needs care and support like any other injury or illness.

If you or a loved one is experiencing mental health challenges, please do not hesitate to contact Right at Home on 1300 363 802. We support those living with mental health conditions, as well as their friends and family.

In good health.
