Right at Home celebrates National Carers Week 2021!

| News

This year has gone incredibly fast. We just cannot believe that it’s already National Carers Week!

One of the most important weeks in the Right at Home calendar, National Carers Week gives us the opportunity to reflect on the incredible caregiver workforce we have here at Right at Home, and more broadly, in Australia.

From Sunday the 10th to Saturday the 16th of October, we’ll be raising a glass to the backbone of our in-home care community.

Tune in via Zoom on Monday, October 11 from 4:15pm, to hear a message from Minister for Carers the Hon. Luke Donnellan MP. Participants will also be able to find out more about the Carer Gateway and e-meet Carers Victoria’s new CEO Judith Abbott. This will be followed by a chat with comedian Georgie Carroll, known for her roles on The Project, Have You Been Paying Attention and Talkin’ Bout Your Gen. AND, if you are one of the first to register, you could get a free afternoon tea kit. All attendees go in the draw to win some prizes to keep you entertained during this extended at home period in the southern states.

Secure your place here.

Thank you, once again to Australia’s 2.65 million carers.
