This year may feel a little different due to COVID-19 but the need to stop cancer remains the same.

Cancer Council Australia estimates cancer cases to rise to roughly 150,000 this year. It is still the leading cause of death in Australia. But thanks to advancements including new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancers, as well as improved ways to support those affected, Cancer Council reports that nearly seven out of ten Australians diagnosed with cancer today will survive more than five years past their diagnosis.
