National Palliative Care Week (NPCW) will this year be held from Sunday 23 May to Saturday 29 May, with the theme "Palliative Care It’s more than you think".

This special week aims to start conversations in our care communities and beyond about the importance of careful, consistent palliative care in Australia. Integral to the palliative care industry are the special individuals who work and volunteer to support those living in palliative care. This year's theme highlights that palliative care is more than end-of-life care and physical symptom management. Palliative care helps terminal patients to live their life as well as possible for as long as possible.
