Home Care Network open for new Franchise Owners

| Franchise Opportunities

Right at Home Australia is now open for new Franchise Owners.

We seek to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

There are reportedly more than 1,110 franchise brands operating in Australia. In July 2015 there were 3,647 existing franchise businesses offered for sale. There are 193 franchises for sale in the health and wellness space of which 8 are private-pay home care companies. All of the home care franchises in Australia originate from the United States where there are over 60 franchise networks with a combined total of over 6,000 offices. The US home care franchise business has been growing at a rate of 11% compounded over the past 8 years. In the UK there are 29 franchise networks with over 800 offices showing phenomenal growth.

Home care is a growth industry in Australia, being driven by the 5.5million baby boomers reaching retirement age over the next 30 years. Over 650 baby boomers are turning 65 every day!

The growth in home care franchises in Australia is set to accelerate because of far-reaching reforms in the government funded aged care and home care sectors. In Australia 1,633 not-for-profit home care providers deliver 94% of services to over 750,000 people at a cost to the taxpayer of +-$5billion. Recent changes to the funding model for home care gives people greater say in the care they are given and greater choice in who delivers that care. From 2017 government funding will flow directly to consumers instead of being channelled through the not-for-profit providers. The same reforms implemented in Australia were implemented in the UK ten years ago which has seen a switch from over 90% not-for-profit providers to less than 10%.

Private-pay providers like Right at Home offer a broad range of care services including nursing care, responsiveness, flexibility, quality and efficiency at an affordable price.

"We can provide our clients with a tailored home care service that suits them, when and how they want it," says Karen Sahli, Master Franchise Owner of Right at Home Australia.

Right at Home offers its franchise owners large exclusive territories that are home to close on 50,000 persons over 65, with a high proportion of self-funded retirees. Right at Home provides care to anyone over the age of 18, including disability care, post-operative care, hospital in the home and care for older Australians.

"Our Franchise Owners should be seeking a change in their lives as well as independence and financial security. They must be driven by success and understand what it takes to be successful. Home care is a tough, competitive business but the rewards are enormous," says Karen Sahli.
