We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful, and high quality service. Our priority is to help our clients live empowered and independently at home. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

Typical shifts would include 8 hours active and overnight sleepover support.

A successful candidate will have the following:

• Ability to provide companion, personal, and domestic care
• A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Desire to work together as part of a team, look after your teammates, commit to a schedule, and cover shifts when needed
• High level of time management and organisational ability
• Experience with supporting people with high care needs and have the availability to work 8 hours shifts and sleepover shifts
• Proven experience being able to understand, listen, and communicate with people who have limited verbal communication capabilities
• Proven ability to provide empathetic and unconditional support to people who can be emotionally expressive, particular about how things are done, and somewhat difficult to work with at times
• Willingness to participate in further education opportunities

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Care, Disability Support, or similar work experience
• Satisfactory Australian National Police check
• Blue Card and/or Yellow Card
• Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate
• Smart mobile phone
• Driver's licence and your own car
• Comprehensive car insurance
