Description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler/Office Administrator for our office based in Currambine. 

Right at Home Perth Northern Suburbs provides a range of care services to assist with people living independently at home. Our dedicated care team support clients at home and in the community 24/7 across various shifts uising a unique and internationally recognised system of delivering care that is focused on consumer directed care. The successful applicant will be assisting with the following

  • Answer all incoming and outgoing calls and direct them to the relevant person
  • General day to day administration of the office
  • Assisting the management team with their filing and administration tasks 
  • Deal with inquiries in a timely manner and/or take appropriate follow-up action;
  • Scheduling, planning and organising care worker workloads to meet both customer and business needs;
  • Review refine and improve introduced rosters whilst maintaining budgets
  • Maintain consistency of service to customer in terms of service time and care worker
  • Roster day to day urgent situations as they arise in a timely manner
  • Resolve issues and problem solve in a fast paced environment to meet client/business needs
  • Work within deadlines
  • Undertake on-call duties as rostered to provide out of hours service to clients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience within the field
  • understanding of the SCHADS award, HCP and NDIS structure to ensure rosters are sheduled accordingly
  • Certificate within home and community care (Aged or Disability) or similar desirable
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Good communication skills
  • English language

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience scheduling/matching care workers to clients within their home
  • Experience using a client information management system, highly desirable Visual Care 
  • Systems orientated
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to develop/implement and evaluate organisational and client focused documentation and systems.
  • Ability to create and promote a positive and supportive culture where all staff are valued
  • Ability to problem solve, work within deadlines and think outside the box
