Right at Home provides exceptional in-home care and support to clients across the Perth South Eastern Suburbs area of Western Australia. We are seeking a passionate, client-focused Personal Care Worker to join our dedicated team.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Proven experience supporting neurodivergent clients.
• Strong expertise in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.
• Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
• Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client’s care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
• Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.
• Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings, under the supervision of an RN.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements:

• Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent) for Personal Care Worker
• Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005] (with 3+ months until expiry).
• A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver’s licence.
• NDIS Screening (or willingness to get).
• Proven experience supporting neurodivergent clients.
• Strong expertise in mental health care.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures

• Understanding of person-centred care.
• Multilingual abilities are a bonus!
