Are You Or Your Loved One On A Government Care Package?

| Government

Did you know that the most ground breaking changes in the funding of home care takes place this month with Aged Care Reforms?

For the first time Consumers have the ability to exercise their choice as to what services they want and from whom. In a nutshell control is being passed to the Consumer to decide on what they want! It's called Consumer Directed Care.

You or a loved one may be receiving home care services but they may not suit your needs. The carers may be untrained, poor communicators, unsupervised, late to work, they don't work at night or weekends, they are changed after every service, or they just do a poor job of work for you. You no longer have to put up with poor service - you can make a change!

Many of the existing providers charge exorbitant administration and case management fees, sometime as high as 50% of the value of the package! The effect of these high fees is that you don't get the number of hours of service you really need.

Did you know that from February 27 you can choose which company provides your services?

Right at Home Australia with is offices Right at Home South Brisbane in Brisbane, Right at Home Padstow St George in Sydney, Right at  Home Southern NSW in Wagga and the Riverina and the soon to open Right at Home Darling Downs servicing Toowoomba and the Outback, is an Approved Provider of Home Care packages. We work a little differently, we don't charge administration or case management fees - the only fees are for your care, that means you get more care from your package.
