Physiotherapist - Aged Care Focused

Description

About Us

Right at Home Brisbane South is a trusted, approved aged care and NDIS provider delivering personalised in-home care services across Brisbane's southern suburbs — from Coorparoo and Mount Gravatt to Indooroopilly and beyond. Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life for those we serve, right at home.

We support older Australians to live safely and independently, including those living with dementia, Parkinson's, and other complex conditions. As we grow our allied health capability, we're looking for a passionate physiotherapist to join our dedicated in-house clinical team.

About The Role

This is a rare opportunity to join an established, values-driven home care organisation as our in-house physiotherapist. You'll work directly with our clients in their own homes across Brisbane South, delivering evidence-based physiotherapy that maximises mobility, independence, and quality of life.

No two days are the same — you'll collaborate closely with our nursing and care teams to deliver truly holistic, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive in-home physiotherapy assessments for older adults and NDIS participants
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Provide falls prevention, mobility, balance, and strength programs
  • Support clients managing neurological and chronic conditions (e.g. Parkinson's, stroke, dementia)
  • Prescribe and review assistive technology and home modification recommendations
  • Liaise with GPs, specialists, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with aged care standards

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3–4 years of physiotherapy experience, with a strong focus on aged care or community settings
  • Current AHPRA registration (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience working with elderly clients and complex presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for person-centred care
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (travel across Brisbane South required)
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People clearance (or willingness to obtain)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of $100,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Meaningful, relationship-based work — not a high-volume clinic
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Ongoing professional development and CPD support
  • The chance to make a genuine difference in people's lives, every single day
