About the role

Due to expansion in our Wagga office, Right at Home are looking to recruit a Weekend Scheduler to support a team of professionals in delivering the highest possible quality of client care. The role suits a highly-organised person with a cheerful manner who enjoys working on the phones and who has a genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disability. Your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others will optimise client satisfaction and their ability to achieve independence and improved quality of life to live life to the fullest.

There will be an early shift and a late shift on both Saturday and Sunday. The schedulers will also be required to work a weekday for better cohesive communication throughout our team.

The Scheduler will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all client shifts are filled with appropriately qualified and experienced carers
  • Filling shifts at short notice due to carers being sick and unavailable
  • Calling carers for late/missed shifts
  • Assisting with the smooth coordination of client scheduling and care requirements
  • Answering telephone enquiries and responding in a timely manner

Essential Criteria:

  • Genuine empathy and interest in making a difference in the lives of people with a disability and the aged
  • Excellent customer service, telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Effective coordination of client requirements and schedules
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to contribute proactively as a member of the team
  • A desire to foster a positive and supportive team environment
  • COVID 19 Vaccination is mandatory
