Right at Home Central Qld provides a range of care services to assist our aging population  living independently at home. This Registered Nurse/coordinator position is on a casual basis with the veiw to permanent partime employment, and working mainly in the Rockhampton Region.

This role is responsible for:

  • Clinical delivery and supervision of clinical and non-clinical team members in a community setting
  • Intake processing, clinical care planning and reporting
  • Conducting client care assessments
  • Supervision and management of care staff
  • Schedule appointments and in-home services to appropriate staff based on discipline, availability and geographical requirements
  • Coordinate the provision of quality person centred care according to the client's needs, service/care plans and available funding in accordance with budget
  • Clinical in-home services include care plan assessment, medication, incontinence, wound, chronic disease, complex wound management, palliative care, and diabetes
  • General administration with respect to tasks performed

 We are particularly seeking individuals with IV  wound care and extensive assesments experience. .

  • Qualified Registered Nurse
  • Current AHPRA registered
  • First Aid & CPR are essential
  • Australian National Police check
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Experienced in assessing and planning care needs within the community
  • Valid Driver's Licenceand reliable presentable car
