Right At Home – Melbourne Frankston is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers (PCW) to join our team, providing high-quality in-home care to clients in the Melbourne, Frankston, and Peninsula areas. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives, helping them live independently and comfortably at home.

Responsibilities: Deliver personal care based on each client’s individualised care plan, as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN).

May include:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable.
• Drive clients to appointments and social activities and travel between clients’ homes.
• Assist with light household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to the RN.
• Document the services and care provided to the client.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in community or in-home care assistance.
• Dementia care experience (preferred).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (must).
• NDIS Screening Check (preferred).
• Driver’s license and own car with comprehensive car insurance (must).
• COVID-19 vaccination.
