Right at Home Townsville has new opportunities available for dedicated Care Workers to join our team within our rapidly growing organisation in Townsville, Charters Towers and Ayr.

Right at Home provides various in-home care services (to eligible clients) including, but not limited to, personal care, domestic assistance, medication assistance, meal preparations, social support, transport, respite care and community access. All of which are a requirement of this position as a dedicated Personal Care Worker (AIN).

Right at Home has established an extensive client base developed through our ability to cater for all clients, our ability to provide an individualised approach to in-home care, and also through our positive reputation in the community.

The Personal Care Worker (AIN) position involves social support, client transport, domestic assistance, medication assistance, meal preparation shifts and this position DOES include personal care duties.

We offer services from Monday - Sunday anytime making us one of the region’s leading 24/7 Service Provider. For this reason - the position is best suited to candidates with flexible availability from Monday - Sunday, and preferably with the ability to cover shifts starting from 6.00 am or shifts finishing up to 10.00 pm.

Job Types: Casual with possibility of part-time

Salary: $29.20 per hour (casual base rate)

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate III in Home and Community Care.
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) and First Aid Certificate must be maintained.

• A ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to demonstrate initiative.
• Passion for caring for others and contributing to improving the quality of life for those we service
• Australian National Police check (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Smart mobile phone
• Driver's Licence and reliable Registered Vehicle (with Comprehensive Insurance)
