Job description

Right at Home Moreton Bay Region is seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Enrolled Nurses to join our team in the Moreton Bay Region covering Clontarf to Caboolture, Kilcoy to Bribie Island. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You can demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
  • Supporting Medication Managment;
  • Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
  • Responding to emergency situations; and
  • Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check;
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Relevant Professional Indemnity Insurance;
  • Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate;
  • Diploma of Nursing;
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in Community Nursing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges;
  • Current National Police Check;
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates;
  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence;
  • A reliable, well-maintained vehicle;
  • Comprehensive car insurance.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of community nursing experience;
  • A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people in a community setting;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills; and
  • Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
  • Yellow card or the ability to obtain one
