Right at Home Northern Rivers is a leading In Home Care Provider.  Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care.

We are currently seeking experienced Disability & Aged Care Support Workers to provide support to our clients. 

The successful applicant will have the following skills

  • Transferring clients in and out of bed, chairs and providing other mobility assistance
  • Showering & toileting
  • Housework, meal preparation and other light domestic assistance
  • Transporting clients with a reliable roadworthy vehicle

The successful Support Workers are

  • Emotionally aware, resilient and responsive to the changing support needs of our clients
  • Sensitive and adaptable to clients’ different personalities, cultural backgrounds and family/house dynamics
  • Genuine, reliable workers with inherent integrity and respect for individual choice and client confidentiality
  • Flexible availability including weekend work

Successful Applicant must have

  • Current First Aid/CPR
  • Current Police Check
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability or Aged Care
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Reliable registered vehicle

Qualifications

Successful Applicant must have

    • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support & corresponding transcript.
    • Australian National Police check
    • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
    • NDIS Worker Screening- WWCC and Yellow card
    • NDIS Orientation Module
    • COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate
    • Comprehensive vehicle insurance
    • Registered vehicle
    • Current Driver's Licence
    • Medicare card
    • Birth certificate/Passport for 100 points of Identification
    • Flu/Covid vaccine record.

Preferred Skills

The successful applicant will have the following skills

  • Housework, meal preparation and other light domestic assistance
  • Supporting clients to achieve their goals
  •  Transporting clients with a reliable roadworthy vehicle

The successful Support Workers are

  • Ability to work with mentally impaired
