The Ideal Candidate: They will have experience in aged and/or disability care, have attention to detail, work in an organized way, and proven customer service skills over the phone. Past roles will include complex community scheduling, administrative support, office coordinator, medical receptionist, or care coordinator. They must be detail orientated, a team player, resourceful, use initiative, have a strong work ethic, think ahead, and be organised. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, as well as,plan ahead. This person will have the ability to connect with others naturally and effortlessly.

Purpose of Position: This position is a vital administrative role that is responsible for coordinating complex community scheduling and managing the rosters for over 100 personal care workers. Responsibilities include assisting with the complex scheduling of community care services, assisting the care coordinators to ensure smooth operation of the office, and provide after-hours emergency on call services for clients and personal care workers. This position will be paid a salary scheduled to work Monday to Friday and on-call for some weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Duties include:

  • Managing complex community scheduling of care services
  • Communicating with carers, clients and clients’ families on a daily basis
  • Ensuring all client contact is managed in an empathetic, friendly, interested and patient manner to quickly build rapport, trust, and confidence in Right at Home.
  • Office administrative including fielding calls, printing, filing, scanning, photocopying, uploading documents, client compliance, employee compliance, etc.
  • Assisting directors and care coordinators to ensure smooth operation of the office
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately and comprehensively completed in Right at Home databases and software programs in accordance with organisation policies and procedures and legislative frameworks.
  • Provide personal introductions of clients to their carers
  • Ensure highest quality service is consistently delivered
  • Act as a backup personal care worker as required

Requirements:
